The Josefodol glassworks produces hand blown and cut 24% PbO (lead oxide) crystal. The combination of old proven tradition with purely modern designs by our renowned artists (mainly by Zdeněk Kunst and Stanislav Machek) and by outside artists (e.g. Švarc, Exnar, Janák), we have created an exceptionally noble crystal beauty, typical for its place of origin.
The cased crystal – pure crystal base of the product which is covered by a layer of coloured crystal during production at high temperature. During the grinding process this coloured layer is cut by industrial diamond blade and it created the unique effect of design by contrasting the color, crystal and light.
